CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES
In the fight against degenerative diseases we must tackle one large organ system that is vital to the continued health and survival of any human being and that is the cardiovascular system.
It is responsible for the pumping of blood- or rather more importantly oxygen and nutrients, all across the body and as you can expect with such an extensive job in the body as one ages it experiences major wear and tear.
The cardiovascular system consists of the heart and connective vasculature consisting of arteries, veins and capillaries, as an overview typically problems with the heart often are caused due to poor maintenance of health, high blood pressure and even abnormalities that result in damage to the system over time.
